National Australia Bank (NAB), part of the National Australia Group (NAG), is moving from offices at 6-8 Tokenhouse Yard, London EC2R to 88 Wood Street, London EC2. The move comes after a 20% compound growth of the Bank’s wholesale operation in London over the last five years.

NAB will occupy four of the 18 floors of the 23,153 sq m (249,217 sq ft) building. The four floors amount to approximately 6,500 sq m (70,000 sq ft), with 890 sq m (9,583 sq ft) on the ground floor, 1,178 sq m (12,679 sq ft) on the first floor, 2216 sq m (23,850 sq ft) on the second floor and 2217 sq m (23,860 sq ft) on the third.

The property was designed by Richard Rogers Partnership and developed by Daiwa Europe Property.

Adrian Turner, from international property consultants NAI Gooch Webster, advised NAB on the acquisition. Letting Agents for Daiwa Europe Property are Insiginia Richard Ellis, FPDSavills and Jones Lang Lasalle.

The relocation is scheduled to take place in November 2000.
