The Guardian‘s Society supplement reports on the winners of the National Housing Awards.
The top award went to a south London tenancy enforcement scheme known as Test (Tenancy Enforcement Support Team).
The key prize for pulling a poor estate around went to the Penywaun community in the Cynon Calley of South Wales.
St Leonards, built last year by the Edinvar housing association, on the south side of Edinburgh, won best new development.
