“Savills is an enviable machine,” said our judges, “churning out impressive fees and profit levels. It addresses client issues, has a great culture and with a strong residential arm has firepower across the board.”
This year’s National Property Adviser of the Year continues to perform exceptionally well. Its financial success over the past year has seen turnover hit £677m, but it is the pretax profits that impressed most: £47.3m, a rise of 88% on 2009.
It has been involved in some of the highest-profile developments, from One Hyde Park, Kings Cross and Stratford to Central Village in Liverpool. Pitch wins have increased by 25%. Outside London it was the only UK property adviser to be voted by Estates Gazette readers as best in class across four regional categories.
It has introduced foreign capital from the US, Australia and Hong Kong into London’s commercial property arena while its newly established Asian desk has attracted more than 200,000 sq ft of new instructions to the UK teams.
