NB Real Estate secures extension to Trinity Village contract

  NB Real Estate – part of Capita Symonds – has won a five year extension to its estate management contract for Trinity Village, a largely housing estate near Borough High Street in south east London.   NB Real Estate will be providing core services, such as property management, on a fixed fee, with additional services such as landlord and tenant, asset management and dilapidations being provided on a project by project basis.   Centred around two private Georgian squares – Trinity Church Square and Merrick Square – Trinity Village is made up of properties owned by the Corporation of Trinity House’s Maritime Charity – one of the largest endowed maritime charities in the UK.   In addition to running the charity, the corporation acts as the General Lighthouse Authority for England and Wales through its Lighthouse Board (the management and funding of the charity and Lighthouse Board are completely separate).   Following recent asset initiatives, construction has just started on 18 private and 10 social housing units at 28-30 Trinity Street, while planning permission has been obtained for the redevelopment of 10-16 Cole Street.   NB Real Estate, which was first appointed on an initial five-year contract in 2005, manages the estate through a site-based team of four staff with support from its head office in Sackville Street, central London.   Chris Vollers, NB Real Estate, said: “Our reappointment to this instruction adds to our credentials in managing heritage estates for charities.”   paul.norman@estatesgazette.com   To access all EGi news stories and commercial property data sign up for a free trial today, or visit the subscription options page to find out more.
