Nursing Home Properties (NHP) has acquired three nursing homes in Dundee, Lincoln and Nottingley, West Yorkshire, for a total of £5.46m. All three deals are on a buy and leaseback basis.
NHP has acquired the 60-bed Grampian Nursing Home, Clovis Duveau Drive in Dundee, from Grampian Care (GC) for £2.1m. GC will pay £226,800 pa.
In Lincoln, NHP has bought the 54-bed White Gables Nursing Home, Lincoln Road, from a subsidiary of APTA Healthcare for £1.5m. A rent of £162,000 pa has been agreed.
In Nottingley, West Yorkshire, NHP has acquired the 60-bed Riverside Court Nursing Home for £1.86m from a subsidiary of Speciality Care. Here, a rent of £200,880 pa has been agreed.
All three deals give the tenant options to extend the lease or repurchase the nursing home.
