Danish value retailer Netto has outlined plans for an ambitious expansion plan across South Wales.
The group opens two new stores in the region in Caerphilly and Barry this month and has plans to open 70 new shops, mainly in areas between the M4 motorway corridor through to Haverfordwest and the heads of the Valley road.
Netto has also announced plans for a further store in Kidderminster, following the acquisition of the freehold of a property from a Bank of Scotland investment subsidiary.
Property manager William Smith said: “Our property team is actively looking at sites throughout South Wales and the rest of England and has already begun discussions with several parties. We would hope to open at least 25 new stores over the next 12 months.”
