A chain of franchised property shops could begin to open next yearoffering one-stop estate agency, conveyancing and financial services.
The Law Society council decided last month to relax conveyancing rulesand allow solicitors who run estate agencies to act for either buyer orseller or give financial advice to the buyer.
More than 100 solicitors have already signed up with the Solicitors’Property Centre, the company planning to open the new network.
