Network Rail pulls into Norfolk House

Norfolk House Birmingham 570p

Network Rail has agreed to take almost 30,000 sq ft of offices at Norfolk House, which sits next to Birmingham’s New Street station.

The rail operator has signed a five-year lease on an undisclosed rent for the ground and first floors of the building with landlord Moredun LP, representing Buccleuch Property, Edinmore and Dundas.

Network Rail will use the space to house its administration and ancillary functions while New Street station undergoes redevelopment.

John Griffiths of GBR Phoenix Beard, said: “Norfolk House’s strategic location adjacent to New Street station, coupled with its large, clear floorplates have resulted in a rapid re-letting of this landmark building.”

DTZ and GBR Phoenix Beard are letting agents for the building.
