New appointments at Kier Property

Kier Property today announced seven new appointments.

Nigel Turner’s industrial team has hired Leigh Thomas and Pip Wilton Morgan as development managers.

Thomas joins from KFC and previously held roles at Courage, Bass, Vigers Hong Kong and Vigers Korea.

Wilton Morgan was previously at niche practice Havills, specialising in retail agency, site acquisition and development. Her main role was acquiring sites for IKEA throughout England.

Turner has also appointed Andrew Birtwistle from Sainsbury’s as associate director for retail to help boost Kier’s exposure to this sector.

In offices, Andrew Jones joins as development manager. He was previously a development and agency specialist at Hammond Phillips.

In January, Kier hired a new offices director James Lambert from Simon Halabi’s Buckingham Securities.

The other new appointments are in Kier’s project delivery department.

Roger Duncombe, who has been promoted to director, has hired Adam Vine as senior project manager.

Vine has held similar positions at Grosvenor, Great Portland Estates and The Bedford Estate.

Robert Sirrett and Andy Busby have also joined as project managers. Sirrett was previously project manager at Legal & General Investment Management and Busby was managing surveyor at Lovell Partnership.

Kier Property managing director Dick Simkin said: “Good people are hard to find so we are naturally delighted that such talented individuals want to be part of our future.

“Our focus is on growth and building upon the significant success we have achieved in the past. With these additions to our already impressive staff force, I am sure we can continue to go from strength to strength.”
