Bath-based Tull Properties has won consent for a £5m factory outlet shopping centre at its Beanacre Park retail development in Melk sham, Wiltshire.
The 9,290m2 (100,000 sq ft) project will be the second factory outlet in the West Country after C&J Clarks’ complex in Somerset.
Tull’s scheme involves converting an existing factory building. The plan is likely to be re ferred to the DOE to assess whether it will compete with shopping in Bath and Bristol.
