New Bond Street is most expensive in Europe

London’s New Bond Street is the third most expensive place on earth to set up a shop.

The street, home to luxury retailers including Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Mulberry, was found to be more expensive than anywhere except for Upper 5th Avenue in New York and Causeway Bay in Hong Kong.

According to Cushman & Wakefield annual rents average £1,333psf, having risen by 2.3% in the past year. It still has a little way to go before it catches up with Causeway Bay, though, with annual rents at £2133psf.
