George Osborne, chancellor, will also announce enterprise zones today in Newquay, Great Yarmouth, Science Vale in Oxfordshire, The Solent zone in Gosport, Kingston-upon-Hull, Warrington and Northampton, among the 11. Today’s announcement follows the naming this year of an initial 11 zones, mostly in the North. Looser planning controls are among the benefits.
