Belway Homes and Richborough Estates are working up detailed proposals for a £60m housing development in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire.
The plans are for 275 new homes, including up to 82 affordable homes, within the market town.
The site was granted outline consent from North West Leicestershire district council in August.
Work will start on site next summer, subject to planning consent.
