Grosvenor Square, W1, is to gain a new hotel following Grosvenor’s sale of a long lease to Blakes Hotels.
The hotel group has submitted plans for a 30-bedroom hotel covering 22 Grosvenor Square, 43 North Audley Street and 1 Lees Place.
The plans include a hotel, 120-cover brasserie, private members’ club and bar.
Both 22 Grosvenor Square and 43 North Audley Street are currently offices, but have consent for conversion to a restaurant and six flats. 1 Lees Place is currently vacant and has permission for a residential development.
The long lease was sold by Grosvenor Britain & Ireland.
