Shares in fashion chain New Look soared to a new high after its founder and largest shareholder Tom Singh said he was reviewing options for this family stake.
The move could lead to a sale of the high-street retailer.
The group said the review, which was looking at all possible options, was still at an early stage.
Singh is being advised by Deutsche Bank, which refused to comment other than to confirm it was working with the businessman.
