New Look takes pre-let at Blackpool’s Houndshill centre

Budget fashion retailer New Look has taken a 23,200 sq ft pre-let at the Houndshill Shopping Centre extension in Blackpool.     It has agreed a new 15-year lease on the store and will pay a rent of £390,000 per year.     The tenant line-up at Houndshill, which is owned by Modus, includes Debenhams, River Island, Next, Clarks, H&M, Jane Norman and Barratts.     The 79,000 sq ft extension, currently under construction, will bring the shopping centre to a total of 398,000 sq ft.     Construction work is due to be completed by the summer.     Savills, Keenan & Co and Lunson Mitchenall are joint agents for Modus.
