New Look is to open five stand-alone menswear-only shops following successful trials at its Oxford Street flagship, W1.
The fashion retailer aims to open five shops by the end of the financial year. It will close the menswear departments in other shops as they will be too small to show the full range.
New Look’s chief creative officer Robert Wightman, said: “Menswear is a key strategic priority for New Look, and the opening of menswear standalone stores represents a natural next step for us.”
In its recent results, the retailer announced a 9% rise in profits to £19.3m for the first quarter of this year.
The company was bought by South African billionaire Christo Wiese for £1.9bn in May this year.
