Hammerson has appointed Mike Butterworth as a new non-executive director.
Butterworth, who brings with him 25 years of financial experience, will join the board on 1 January.
Hammerson chair Rob Noel said Butterworth had “extensive financial experience” and had worked across a range of sectors, which will complement and enhance the existing skills Hammerson has at board level and “bring a valuable and fresh perspective”.
Butterworth began his career at Arthur Anderson. He was chief financial officer of Incepta Group, prior to its acquisition by Huntsworth in 2005, and then at Cookson Group until its demerger in 2012. He also sits on the boards of Pressure Technologies and Stock Spirits Group.
