New partner for Addington

Property investment and asset management company Addington Capital has appointed Alex Wagstaff partner.

In his new position, Wagstaff will lead the group’s retail asset management. The company acquired the £145m Sapphire shopping centre portfolio with AEW Europe and Tristan Capital Partners earlier this year,

Wagstaff joins the company from Spectrum Property Management in Manchester where he oversaw the investment and asset management of £450m of property assets. Prior to Spectrum he was a director of DTZ in Manchester.

Martin Roberts, principal of Addington Capital, said, “Alex’s appointment is a strong boost to our retail asset management expertise and our ability to work assets to their full potential for our investors and our financial partners.”
