Legal Firm Herbert Smith Freehills has created two new partners in its real estate practice to enhance coverage of the sector.
Rob Carr and Shona Grey have been promoted to partners, from 1 May.
Carr specialises in real estate finance in the UK and continental Europe, with a particular focus on German banks, insurers and private equity firms.
Grey will be a partner in the commercial real estate team with a focus on real estate private equity investment, development and financings.
Among deals transacted by Grey are Blackstone’s sale of Chiswick Park to CIC and the sale of the £1bn Laser portfolio by Moorfield Group to Lone Star.
