Ardent Group has unveiled plans for a major new office block close to Aberdeen’s harbour.
The Pinnacle Aberdeen will provide 100,000 sq ft of grade A space, of which there is currently none in the city centre. A 120-bedroom, four-star hotel, with 31 serviced flats and conference space for 500 delegates, also form part of the proposed scheme.
Ardent is touting the building as a potential global headquarters, and is in talks with a number of major oil and gas companies over a prelet. Active office requirements in the city include Petrofac, which is looking for 45,000 sq ft, Senergy, which wants 40,000 sq ft, and Bibby Offshore, which is seeking 52,000 sq ft. CBRE and Ryden are advising.
