Duddingston House Properties and Urbanist Group, whose initial proposal to convert Edinburgh’s Royal High School into a hotel was rejected last year, have put forward new plans.
The move comes shortly after councillors approved a rival plan to convert the building into a national music school.
The developers are going through a design process, Duddingston’s chief executive, Bruce Hare, said. Full details of the new plans have yet to be published.
