Frederick Dyer, former senior partner of Chesterton’s Birmingham office, has launched a new property consultancy in the city.
The firm, called Darlinson Dyer, will specialise in industrial and commerical property throughout the Midlands. There are plans to recruit two surveyors.
“I have to retire at 60 at the end of September, so I decided to be proactive and set up on my own. There are clear signs that the Midlands market is on the upturn and I am expecting this trend to continue – so I think that my own timing looks good,” said Dyer.
Dyer will maintain his links with Chesterton as a consultant. He is also a director of Birmingham City 2000, a council member of Birmingham Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and a council member of the West Midlands CBI.
