New Scottish chairman for BCO

The British Council for Offices (BCO) has appointed Cameron Stott, director of agency and development at Jones Lang LaSalle Edinburgh, as the new Scottish chapter chairman.

Cameron Stott

Stott replaces outgoing chairman Bill Ferrie.

Stott’s brief will be to represent the work and the support of the BCO to its members in Scotland.

He has worked in the Edinburgh property market for 20 years, and is currently involved with projects including Tiger’s Haymarket development and New Edinburgh’s Edinburgh Park scheme.

Stott said: “I am looking forward to the coming years as Chapter Chairman for Scotland.

“I would like to use the opportunity to encourage developers to push for better internal environments; we cannot ignore the link between environment and productivity and this is something the BCO will continue to explore throughout 2007 and 2008.”
