Peter Gadsby’s Cedar House Investments has resurrected plans to redevelop a former industrial laundry site in Nottingham after securing a prelet to Aldi.
Cedar House lodged revised plans this week for a £10m DLG Architects-designed retail park on the five-acre former Sunlight Laundry site in Sneinton.
The proposed 52,000 sq ft East Point will be anchored by a 16,500 sq ft Aldi.
It also includes 30,000 sq ft of non-food shops. Subject to planning, work will start in September and be completed in spring 2015. Cedar House originally won approval to regenerate the site in 2010.
