Agricultural lender Oxbury Bank and train operator Transport for Wales Rail have signed leases at One City Place in Chester, taking the occupancy of the 69,913 sq ft office building to 100%.
Oxbury Bank has taken more than 6,000 sq ft of workspace on part of the fourth floor to accommodate its general expansion and relocation of 80 employees from Steam Mill.
Transport for Wales Rail, meanwhile, has signed a 10-year lease on a 4,916 sq ft office suite on part of the fifth floor.
Neil Mort, senior director at CBRE, which acted for landlord Federated Hermes, said: “Both Oxbury Bank and Transport for Wales Rail will benefit from grade-A office workspace located in the city’s gateway and adjacent to the city’s mainline railway station.”
Sutton Consulting acted for Transport for Wales.
