Regeneration specialist Blueprint and the Homes & Communities Agency have won consent for a new residential neighbourhood at Trent Basin in Nottingham.
Plans include building 160 homes on a nine-acre site at Trent Basin, which is located on Nottingham’s Waterside and stretches from Trent Bridge to Colwick Park.
Work will start on site this summer, with completion of the first phase of 41 homes due by autumn 2015.
Kate Davies, senior area manager at the HCA, said: “The HCA has worked extremely hard to get the project to this stage, having acquired the site many years ago. We have demolished buildings and cleaned-up the site ready for development.”
