A new £30m university for Peterborough has been launched to stop people abandoning the area.
Anglia Ruskin University will set up the employment-focused institution in what is regarded as a higher education “cold spot”.
ARU Peterborough is expected to open in 2022.
The announcement comes after 20 years of discussion, three years of planning and several “false starts”.
