Airline catering company Newrest All has signed for 9,862 sq ft at J Smart & Co’s West Edinburgh Business Park.
The company signed a 10-year lease at a rent of £7.50 per sq ft.
More than 85% of phase one of West Edinburgh Business is now let and J Smart & Co has started phase two, which will provide a further two terraces of industrial space extending to 26,264 sq ft.
Phase two will be available for occupation towards the end of 2017, while design and build opportunities of up to 20,000 sq ft can be accommodated on phase three.
West Edinburgh Business Park is situated on the south side of South Gyle Crescent, one of the principal arterial routes through South Gyle, to and from the City Centre and Sighthill Industrial Estate.
Bryce Stewart, director of industrial and logistics at Colliers International, who advised on the deal, said: “The commitment to commence phase two will be welcomed by the property market, as the level of stock is diminishing very quickly now, with good quality accommodation thin on the ground.”
