Blackstone sells Elysian for €87.5m

Blackstone has sold a mixed-use property in Cork, Ireland, for €87.5m (£76.7m) to New York Stock Exchange-listed investment firm Kennedy Wilson. The Elysian comprises 206 multifamily/PRS homes, 67,600 sq ft of shops and offices, as well as 550 car parking spaces. The residential element is 98% let and the commercial space is 61% let.

SEGRO plans spec sheds in Enfield

SEGRO is to develop a 221,000 sq ft speculative industrial scheme in Enfield, north London. Construction is to begin this summer on the development, which will provide units of 107,880 sq ft, 64,590 sq ft and 48,330 sq ft.

FdR makes UK debut with hotels deal

Foncière des Régions has agreed to buy Starwood Capital’s Principal Hayley hotel business for £858m. EG previously revealed it would make its UK debut with the acquisition, which comprises 14 four- and five-star hotels totalling 2,638 rooms. IHG has agreed long-term leases on 13 of the properties. Two hotels have also been transferred from Starwood’s DeVere business.

Bellinger joins Guildmore

Martin Bellinger, one of the founders of PRS developer Essential Living, has joined affordable housing developer and contractor Guildmore. He left Essential Living last June as part of a reorganisation of the M3 Capital Partners-backed firm. Guildmore has a £100m pipeline.
