DEALS: WeWork joins forces on £580m Devonshire Square deal

WeWork has teamed up with Denmark’s biggest pension fund, PFA Ejendomme, and TH Real Estate to buy the Devonshire Square estate, EC2, from Blackstone for around £580m.

MIXED-USE: Canary Wharf withdraws Isle of Dogs scheme plans

Canary Wharf Group has withdrawn plans for a 3.7m sq ft Isle of Dogs mixed-use scheme at North Quay, following a spike in construction starts on residential towers in the area.

HAMMERSON/INTU: Hammerson shareholder ‘to vote against intu bid’

Dutch Pension fund APG has said it will vote against Hammerson’s £3.4bn takeover of UK rival intu, which was back in the spotlight on Friday after Klépierre withdrew its offer for Hammerson.

Stanhope and Network Homes have submitted plans for 571 homes in Southall, west London. The jv is the first to get to planning after the two signed a strategic partnership deal earlier this year.
