Next generation take the reins at Farells

Architecture practice Farrells has announced two senior appointments to promote “a new generation of leaders”, while founder and world-renowned architect Sir Terry Farrell will remain “a key figurehead”.

Laura Mazzeo has taken on the role of managing partner. The former Farrells partner played a key role in the firm’s Hong Kong office, securing planning consent for the West Kowloon Cultural District.

Shevaughn Rieck has been made partner and will take on responsibility for delivering buildings through to completion.

Farrells partner Max Farrell said: “As a practice, we are going through a significant period of change in order to improve the services we offer and create a better built environment as a result, ultimately improving the quality of people’s lives. While Terry remains a key figurehead, a new generation of leaders will take the practice forward in the coming years.”
