Retailer Next has taken 500,000 sq ft at Moorfield Group’s Heywood Distribution Park in Greater Manchester.
The retailer has taken a ten-year lease with a break at five years at the Hub building, which was formerly occupied by Littlewoods.
Rental details on the building remain confidential but Next is believed to be paying around £3 per sq ft.
Mark Holmes, director of Moorfield, said: “This is terrific news for the local community and a real boost for Heywood. The Hub is a key component of the site so it was always important to replace Littlewoods with another household name.”
King Sturge and Savills are joint letting agents.
Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker advised Next.
