Nexus Planning launches Birmingham office

Planning consultancy Nexus Planning has opened a new Birmingham office.

It is the firm’s fourth location, after London, Manchester and the Thames Valley.

Managing director Roger Tustain will head the new five-person team, which has taken space in the Alpha Tower in the city centre.

Nexus Planning has advised on schemes in Birmingham including the listed Smallbrook Queensway building, and the 3,000-home development at Gaydon in Stratford-on-Avon.

Tustain said: “Having spent the very early part of my professional career with the city council, it is exciting to return to Birmingham, a city and a region that is undergoing major positive urban change.

“The proposed commercial, residential and infrastructure growth will present many interesting challenges for the local authorities within the region, as well as major investment opportunities for our clients over the next few years.”
