NHS Property Services has retained Montagu Evans to manage and maintain its £3.6bn property portfolio, on a five-year contract.
The NHSPS holds around 1,300 freehold properties and 271 PFI properties across England.
The firm held the previous valuation contract for NHSPS, which also ran for five years.
Montagu Evans’s work will cover real estate revaluations required for financial reporting purposes and ad hoc asset valuations for acquisitions, along with the provision of market value reports for disposals and advice on the effects of new accounting standards, IFRS 16.
