Nike sprints into Craigleith

Henderson Global Investors, on behalf of its UK Retail Warehouse Fund, has signed Nike at its Craigleith shopping park in Edinburgh.

Nike has taken a new 10-year lease on the former 10,00 sq ft JJB store.

The scheme is let to tenants including M&S, TK Maxx, Boots and Outfit.

Michael Neal, fund manager for the Henderson UK Retail Warehouse Fund, said: “The retail warehouse market has seen void rates increase over the past few months following a number of administrations. Craigleith shopping park is once again fully let, just four months after the demise of JJB with a new and exciting facia that clearly has far greater appeal and relevance to the consumer than the outgoing operator.”

Cushman & Wakefield and Savills acted for Henderson.
