Convenience store supplier Nisa Retail has asked accountancy firm EY to investigate a leak of shareholders’ contact details and passwords.
Nisa is mutually owned by 1,000 independent shopkeepers. It enjoyed sales of £1.6bn last year.
The loss of its main customer Costcutter in July has been compensated for by a deal with McColl’s.
