Global alternative residential asset manager Node has appointed Ian Gibbs as chief operating officer and global head of operations.
He joins from Get Living, where he held the position of executive director of neighbourhoods and operations.
Prior to this, Gibbs was at central operations at David Lloyd Leisure. He has also held senior roles at Pure Sports Medicine, Compass Group and Starbucks.
At Node, Gibbs will be responsible for scaling its pan-European and North American operating platform as Node seeks to execute operationally on its 7,000-bed pipeline, with 4,000 beds planned to be operational by 2025.
These include next-generation, purpose-built flexible living and coliving buildings in London, Dublin, Madrid and Barcelona.
