Non-exec director to bring ‘fresh perspective’ to Vivid Housing

Vivid Housing has appointed Ian Playford to its board as a non-executive director. Playford has previously held roles as a non-executive director at Guy’s and St Thomas’​ NHS Foundation Trust, a board adviser at Ashfield Land, and a board adviser and chair at Kingsbridge Estates. At Vivid, he will focus on property development and management, with a focus on customer and business transformation. Mark Perry, chief executive at Vivid, said: “Ian will bring a fresh perspective to our property development and investment decisions as we continue [to implement] our More Homes: Bright Futures vision. We are committed to remaining one of the largest providers of new affordable housing in the sector.
