Norges Bank Real Estate Management has confirmed its acquisition of the Amazon-let Midtown office block, 60 Holborn Viaduct, EC1, from Hines.
The real estate arm of Norway’s sovereign wealth said it had completed the £321.3m purchase today.
Norges added the asset is unencumbered by debt, and no financing was involved in the transaction.
The property comprises 219,000 sq ft of office space and 17,000 sq ft of retail space across five units.
It is only the sixth property purchase by Norges in the UK outside of a joint venture and its second solo purchase outside of the West End.
CBRE is understood to have advised Norges on the acquisition.
