Wells Soft Drinks has been granted detailed planning permission by Northampton Council for its 27,870 sq m (300,000 sq ft) warehouse on the Swan Valley distribution park, close to junction 15a of the M1. The consent also allows for a future extension of 9,290 sq m (100,000 sq ft).
The scheme’s developers, Swan Hill and Norwich Union, sold the 10.52ha (26 acre) site to Wells earlier this year. Construction of the warehouse will begin this summer, with completion scheduled for Spring 1997.
