Norton Rose LLP has announced the appointment of Savills Capital Advisors director Chris Nicolle as a senior adviser to its real estate practice.

Nicolle has been hired to help the practice build on its commercial and technical knowledge of the real estate market.

Nicolle began his career as a solicitor at Freshfields in London, before taking up various corporate finance roles with firms such as Natwest Markets, BZW and DTZ Holdings.

For the last two years, he has been the head of Savills Capital Advisors, the international real estate adviser, which he will continue to represent.

Lindsay Morgan, partner and head of the international real estate practice at Norton Rose LLP, comments: “Chris’s appointment fits very neatly with what we’re trying to achieve as a practice. Through linking our pure real estate expertise with the wider group’s capabilities, we’re well positioned to deliver integrated advice to our clients in this sector.

“We place a heavy emphasis on utilising our commercial, corporate and financing expertise in servicing our real estate clients. That, of course, is something Chris has a huge amount of experience of,” she said.

Nicolle said: “I am really excited at this opportunity to help Norton Rose real estate practice grow its footprint in the property and finance markets.”
