Regus has taken two floors in Austin House and adjoining Cavell House at Stannard Place, Norwich, in the city’s largest office deal for four years.
The serviced office specialist has signed two 15 year leases on 1,712 sq m (18,425 sq ft) at a rent of around £107.64 per sq m (£ 10 per sq ft.
Landlord Prudential was looking for a rent of £134.55 per sq m (£12.50 per sq ft) but accepted a lower rent related to Regus’ profits.
Drivers Jonas and DTZ Debenham Thorpe acted for Prudential, and Regus was unrepresented.
