Norwich’s Castle Quarter welcomes fashion brand House of Cavani

House Of Cavani, an Italian-inspired fashion retailer, has signed a deal to open its new store at the Castle Quarter shopping centre in Norwich. The men’s formalwear brand has signed for a 4,200 sq ft on a new seven-year lease. The store will be House of Cavani’s 16th in England and its third in the East Anglia region, alongside locations in Cambridge and King’s Lynn.

The 387,000 sq ft shopping centre was owned by InfraRed Capital Partners and is currently in receivership. It is asset managed by RivingtonHark and property managed by Munroe K. It has 116,000 sq ft of leisure space and 820 car parking spaces. Vue Cinema is its anchor tenant. Other tenants include Boots, TK Maxx and Starbucks.

Will Ashdown, asset manager at RivingtonHark, said: “Throughout the repositioning towards social, leisure and lifestyle operators, we have worked hard to ensure major retail brands remain at the centre of Castle Quarter’s offer, and House of Cavani’s choice to open its latest store here demonstrates the strength of that approach.

“Our strategy of delivering as diverse an occupier line-up as possible is seeing significant benefits for all occupiers through footfall and trading performance.”

Roche and Jamieson Mills are the retained agents on Castle Quarter.
