Nottingham law firms Berryman & Co and Shacklocks will merge on 1 December. The new firm will be called Berryman Shacklock.
The merger is aimed at strengthening corporate services. The firm will have 19 partners and around 120 staff. It will be jointly headed by Robin Wilson, of Shacklocks, and Charles Harrington, of Berrymans.
Commenting on the merger, Wilson said: “It is confirmation of our belief that there is substantial room for an expansion of focused legal services for business.”
