Dublin-based Jurys Doyle Hotel Group has announced plans for a 250-bedroom Jurys Inn three-star hotel in Nottingham.
The group has struck a deal with Northern Irish developer McAleer & Rushe to construct and lease the 28.5m (£19.5m) hotel, which will open by the end of next year.
Located on London Road to the south east of the city centre, it will form part of a mixed-use development comprising 75,000 sq ft (6,967 sq m) of offices and 90,000 sq ft (8,361 sq m) of flats.
It will include a bar and restaurant, around 8,000 sq ft (743 sq m) of dedicated meeting rooms, and a 150-space car park.
The company has agreed to enter into a 35-year operating lease.
The hotel brings to 19 the number of Jurys Inns operating in Ireland and the UK – 4,450 rooms in total.
Pat McCann, chief executive of Jurys Doyle, said: “Nottingham is an excellent location for our brand.”
