Nottinghamshire has become the first part of England to enter a ‘Tier 3-plus’ lockdown.
The county has agreed to additional measures over the ‘baseline’ of the Tier 3 measures.
Beauty salons, nail bars, betting shops, museums and galleries are among venues that must close, as well as pubs and bars not serving meals, tighter restrictions on socialising and advice not to travel in and out of the area.
West Yorkshire is thought to be the next region to be placed in the “very high” category.
