Former Bartlett Property director Charles Trafford has set up a new commercial property consultancy based in Nottingham.
Trafford Oliver will specialise in advising on development, investment and letting in the retail, roadside and leisure sectors around the greater Midlands area.
Prior to Bartlett Property, Trafford was an associate director at Innes England in Nottingham for seven years, and a senior surveyor at Chesterton for six years.
He said: “After working in the industry for over 20 years now, I felt the time was right to make a break and set up my own business.
“The economic climate is still difficult, and some may question why I have decided to take the leap now. But even in the most challenging markets you will always find activity and it is a case of focusing your efforts on the more robust sectors and operators.
