Novell lets surplus space at Arlington Square

Computer giant Novell has let its surplus office space at No.1 Arlington Square in Bracknell to American software company BACG.

BACG has taken 1,858 sq m (20,000 sq ft) at about £270 per sq m (£25 per sq ft). The lease is for five years, with a three-year break.

Novell bought Arlington Square for £20m in May, preferring to own the building rather than lease it in order to have greater management flexibility.

Savills acted for Novell, while Chesterton advised BACG.
