The number of homes for rent in the UK has slumped to a 14-year low.
In June, 241,000 homes were available in the private rented sector, compared with 370,000 in June 2019 — a fall of 35%, according to consultancy TwentyCi.
TwentyCi said rental availability was at its lowest level since it began recording the data in 2009.
